  ILLUPAI POO SAMBA ARISI - இலுப்பை பூ சம்பா அரிசி This rice is predominantly grown in Tamil Nadu. The name Illupai Poo Samba is given to this rice is because this rice has the fragrance of the Illupai Poo (Bassia Latifolia Flower).

  KATTUYANAM ARISI - காட்டுயானம் அரிசி It is predominantly grown in Tamil Nadu. It is also called as "enemy of diabetes".

  THANGA SAMBA ARISI - தங்க சம்பா அரிசி Since the matured grains are golden in colour, this variety is known as Thanga Samba. The word "Thangam" is derived from Tamil which means Gold. This rice is queen of all traditional rice varieties.

  KARUNKURUVAI ARISI - கருங்குறுவை அரிசி Also known as "Indian Vyagra". It has a Kayakalpam property which protects our body.

KOTTARA SAMBA ARISI - கொட்டாரச் சம்பா அரிசி  It boosts immunity power in children. If we feed this rice to a new born baby, then there is no need for any immunity vaccinations.

POONGAR ARISI - பூங்கார் அரிசி Also called as "Women's Rice". Poongar rice is very good for women health, in particular for pregnant women and lactating mothers.

MOONGIL ARISI - மூங்கில் அரிசி  It is called as "Bamboo Rice" in English. It increases natural fertility. It is good for pregnant women.

MAPILLAI SAMBA ARISI - மாப்பிள்ளை சம்பா அரிசி Also called as "Bridegroom Rice". It is grown predominantly in Tamil Nadu.

  KARUPPU KAVUNI ARISI - கருப்பு கவுனி அரிசி Other names are "Forbidden Rice" or "Emperor's Rice" or "Black Rice". This rice is in existence from  Chola period.
